License and use

This repository holds three kinds of material under different terms.

1. Code: MIT

The scripts, site builder, templates and plugin configuration are released under the MIT License.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions:

2. Brand: the Library's

The Library's name, logos, supporting marks, brand guide content and design tokens belong to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation. They are published so staff, agencies and partners can do authorized work for the Library. They may not be used to suggest endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation without the Library's permission, and the logos and marks may not be altered except as the guide allows.

3. Fonts: licensed separately

The fonts in assets/fonts/ are commercial fonts owned by their foundries (Dharma Type; Monotype and its ITC and Linotype libraries) and licensed to the Library. Having the files does not give you a license. Anyone using them must hold their own license or confirm with the Library's Marketing & Communications team that their work for the Library is covered. The license terms embedded in each font file govern. See assets/fonts/README.md.
